About Joane Goulding
Founder of The Goulding Institute, Joane Goulding is the sort of person every parent would like to have around when there’s a problem with a child, or when there’s a personal issue that needs to be explored and resolved. She’s kind, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. She doesn’t judge people. But make no mistake: Joane has been absolutely tireless and focussed when it comes to creating the Goulding SleepTalk™ process. That’s because more than 30 years ago, she discovered her own beloved child had serious intellectual and physical issues, and there just wasn’t a way available to help her. So Joane researched, tried, used her knowledge and now, with the Goulding SleepTalk™ process, she has combined her extensive training with practical experience to benefit all children.
Joane, a Co-Founder and Director for 22 years until 2001 of the Government Accredited Australian Academy of Hypnotic Science (AAHS), has been described by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners as a Master Hypnotist. She’s been an educator and Consultant for more than 30 years. Joane is also a qualified psycho-nutritionalist (nutrition for the mind) and has extensive experience in stress management and nutrition, specialising in the biopsychosocial aspect of stress and mind management. She has delivered lectures throughout the world, and is recognised as an expert in her fields. In 1995, Joane was appointed an approved hypnotherapy instructor and a designated examiner by the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.
Joane provided the leadership and wrote the extensive Australian Academy of Hypnotic Science two-year Diploma of Health – Clinical Hypnotherapy documentation and course materials required for the AAHS to become a National and International Government Accredited Training Organisation. She is no longer involved with the Academy.
Joane Goulding’s dedication and ability to achieve what she sets out to do has been evident since she was in her teens. She was a talented violinist prior to devoting her life to developing and sharing SleepTalk™ and she has become an internationally recognised expert in adult hypnotherapy, psycho-nutrition and metaphysical counselling.
Joane is currently a member of the Yarra Valley Practitioners Project (YVPP) This is a group of professional therapists offering their pro bono services to members of the community that have been and still are affected by the 2009 February Black Saturday fires.
